The central government had declared 344 medicines banned in march 2016.In India more than 1500 banned fixed dose medicines are still selling in medial shops.this article is giving information details about banned drugs information to educate readers to aware.In Telangana state in Hyderabad outskirts the banned medicines are still available in Hayath nagar ,shamshabad ,shamirpet and Rajendra nagar.
This medicines are not linked to the state pharmacy council selling through shops which are not registered as with pharmacist.According to sources senior drug inspector from Telangana said more than 1000 fixed dose combinations and 500 medicines which have been in market for more than 25 years have been banned.
Mr Saikumar pharmacist said with in the city limits the drug inspectors are very strict but on the out skirts the checking is not done properly.According to sources government is taking the action as minimize,shops are not returning banned drugs to the manufacture companies and also company not collecting their medicines.
Due to un awareness of shopkeepers and no strict rules followed by drug inspectors not taking serious implementations in this.Fixed dose combinations were banned because of their side effects ,heavy dosage and also because there was indiscriminate prescription.
