For this recipes two major ingredients are chicken and basmati rice .Most of ingredients used for Biryani are naturally grown in Indian. Making good Hyderabadi chicken biryani is simple. Ingredients :



1.Chicken-1Kg

2.Rice-1Kg

3. Pudina-1 Bunch

4. Coriander leaves-1 Bunch

5.Onions - 4 to 5

6.Ginger garlic paste -3 Table spoons

7. Chillipowder-5 Table spoons

8.Turmeric powder-1/2 Table spoon

9.Chicken masala- 3 Table Spoons

10. Coriander powder - 2 Table spoons

11.Garam masala,

12.curd-1 cup

13.lemon-2


Procedure:



Step1: Clean chicken multiple times with fresh water .Try to remove maximum water from chicken to dry and add chilli powder ,coriander powder,ginger garlic paste, salt, turmeric powder, chicken masale, curd.Combine all ingredients with chicken well. keep aside for about 30 minutes.

Step2: On gas stove put vessel add enough oil, fry finely chopped onions till golden brown color comes.


Step3: Remove from the oil


Step4: Now drop the marinated chicken in that oil and keep it aside

Step5: Taken rice in another vessel, add whole garam masale , biryani leaves, salt and allow it to cook.


Step6: when rice is half cooked, strain it

Step7: Cook the chicken ,add pudina and coriander leaves 

Step8:Add half the boiled rice and fried onions

Step9:Add remaining rice,onions layer by layer to vessel..Reduce flame and cook for 40-minutes on small flame.


Step10:finally add lime juice mixed with rice.

Step11:serve with the raitta.
