Tamil Nadu Declared Sankranti bonus to State Government Employees.
Tamail Nadu Chief Minister Panneerselvam declared Sankranti Pongal bonus for state government employees on Wednesday. Panneerselvam announced bonus through media in Chennai. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister announced special package for the employees on the group wise system,Panneerselvam is going to offer 325 crores rupees total amount for the employees as bonus.
Tamil Nadu government announced group wise bonus as pensioners,village administrative officers are under group of A and B will get RS 500 for each employee.State government teachers,staff , employers are under C and D group are getting 30 days salary which is Rs 3000 for each employee.Other than A and B employees like staff local bodies,teachers in aided schools and contract workers will get Rs 1000 as festival bonus.As per calculation form Tamil Nadu state revenue department total cost of festival bonus cost 325.2 crores.
